A frequent session keyboardist for music producers Robert Clivilles (C&C Music Factory), Victor Calderone, and Shep and Kenny, Arthur has played keyboards on two #1 singles, Hall and Oats' DO IT FOR LOVE, and DON’T WANT ANOTHER MAN by Tina Ann, as well as Calderone's remixes for Madonna, k.d. lang, Goldfrapp, Lisa Stansfield, Filter, among others.

As part of the NYC alternative rock scene, Arthur formed the band THE DIVERS with his brother guitarist and songwriter Nick Bacon. The band was signed as THE ERRATICS to Touchwood/Universal records.

Arthur composed the music for the musical BLEEDING LOVE which won at the NAMT Festival and went on to have a world premier at the Fredericia Theater in Denmark, directed by Noel Himmelstein and orchestrated by Tony Award winner Bruce Coughlin. In 2020 during lock down, BLEEDING LOVE became one of the Top Performing Arts Podcasts in the US on the Apple Podcasts charts. He is the composer of A HERO’S TALE, a musical which was to have its world premier at Fredericia Theater in 2020, but was postponed due to Covid.
